Whether you've just moved to a new home in Ontario or bought a house here in Buffalo, New York, odds are you're going to need to do some shopping to fill up the new property. Malls are ideal for this sort of shopping because they have a wide variety of stores all under one roof, so you can get all your new house shopping done in a single trip. If you're new to the Buffalo area, here are some local shopping malls you might want to visit.

Walden Galleria

With over 200 shops and services, the Walden Galleria is the juggernaut of Buffalo malls. You can pick up some lamps and shelving units at the Pottery Barn, visit the Verizon booth to arrange for your TV, telephone, and internet service to be hooked up, buy a Valentines gift certificate at Victoria's Secret, then stop off at the Hyde Park Steakhouse for a nice sit down meal. There's also a food court, a walking club, and various other visitor's services.

Main Place Mall

If you don't want to travel out past the farmers setting up their livestock waterers to get to a shopping mall, the Main Place Mall is located right in downtown Buffalo. The mall has covered walkways connecting it to Main Place Tower and the Liberty Building, so it's the logical place to go if you're working in the area and you need to pick up something on the way home from work. There's also a large food court that attracts the downtown business crowd at lunchtime.

Eastern Hills Mall

Located in nearby Williamsville, the Eastern Hills Mall is a good choice if you're looking for comfort and convenience. There are over 85 stores and services at Eastern Hills, including Toys R' Us, Brooks Brothers, Macy's, J.C. Penny, Hot Topic, a dollar store, and a movie theater. However the real appeal is how easy it is to bring your baby's diapers and your laptop and feel right at home. There's free wireless, comfy sitting areas, fireplaces, and plasma TVs for patrons to watch.

Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls

Buffalo is close to the border with Canada, so the area is popular with cross-border shoppers. One of the most popular destinations isn't an industrial water treatment chemicals store, it's the outlet mall. There are over 150 stores in the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, from Wilson Leather Outlet to Saks Fifth Avenue, all offering up to 75% savings. Come and stay the day, as the mall also has a large food court.
